Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Agency Account Manager to lead the operations and growth of an entrepreneurial insurance agency within Spirit HR. This individual will be responsible for securing health benefit plans and other insurance products for Spirit HR’s prospects and clients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Obtain and maintain appointments with insurance carriers.
- Secure proposals from carriers for Spirit HR prospects and clients.
- Analyze plan options and create detailed comparisons tailored to each group’s needs.
- Present and explain health plan options based on a thorough understanding of clients’ goals.
- Manage the implementation process for new health insurance and other products, including creation of implementation kits and overseeing smooth product launches.
- Oversee the renewal process for each represented plan.
- Assist clients with questions related to claims processing.
- Support the administrative operations of the insurance agency.
- Stay up to date on industry knowledge through education, reading, webinars, and other learning opportunities.
- Complete continuing education requirements to maintain insurance licenses.
- Research and recommend new products or initiatives to management.
- Oversee all company insurance licensing tasks and provide communication, documentation, and assistance as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Licensed Life, Accident, and Health Insurance Producer (required).
- Knowledge of underwriting and claims processes (preferred).
- Experience with PEO services (a plus).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
- Familiarity with agent and agency licensing and carrier appointment requirements, or willingness to learn.
- Solid understanding of business and health insurance fundamentals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with (or willingness to learn) Zywave agency software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Reliable personal vehicle with valid driver’s license and insurance (required).
